We are social creatures too. Leadership is essential for setting and achieving goals for society. When leadership fails to set pro-human, social goals we are in trouble. Nature abhors a vacuum. Global depression, unemployment and debt led to scapegoating, racism, narrow nationalism and war last time. The exit poll results from yesterday show how easy it is for leadership to fail and for fear to take over. Lesson from history...Hitler was elected!!!...He was elected because of a failure of leadership. We get the leaders we want and the leaders we deserve. Whenever we have abdicated our responsibilities for society our leaders have abdicated too. The Geert Wilders faction in the Netherlands show what can so easily happen. It could happen here too.
